Maison & Objet focuses on the themes of decoration, giftware and tableware. 

 

It welcomed 70,419 buyers of which there was a large ratio (25%) of consultants (decorators, style and trends prediction agencies, architects and interior designers)

 

In 10 years the trade fair has imposed itself internationally as the essential bi-annual meeting place, 5 days to locate and pinpoint the new releases (collections and designers), to develop partnerships and on-going or continuing affairs, to detect and analyze the home market trends and allow the visibility of a selective offer within all domains (furniture, art-of-entertaining, furnishing textiles, home textiles, complementary decoration, lighting, scents, etc.).

 

The attention lavished on the home is not weakening – it’s the second spending post of the French (following leisure activities) – and a new international clientele is appearing at the trade fair : Asia, especially China, as well as a noticeable return of the Japanese visitors, the incredible increase of Eastern European visitors (Russians and Polish) and from the Middle East. Northern Europe is also reinforcing its presence.
